Over the years, we have held many seminars on Zoom. Here are a few examples:
On the 31stof December 2022 the Rotary Club of Jarfalla was appointed Sweden’s first Peacebuilder Club. The Peacebuilder Committee of the club has created this page to gather all the activities and projects that club has been engaged in since then.

At the end of 2024, Lars-Erik Rydbrant became one of the first Swedish Rotarians to be IEP's Peace Ambassador.

As a peacebuilding club, we have had online training on Rotary's areas of focus for our Rotary members in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Estonia:
Rotary Action Group for Peace
We have administered five meetings on Zoom during 2023 for the RAG.
At each Global Meeting, 45–50 countries participated. We had international speakers, group work and so-called hives where only two participants met and could individually exchange experiences with each other.

By July 2025, Lars-Erik joined the ranks as a valuable team member at RSHU. He is the coordinator of their communication and PR activities as well as marketing.
2026-04-07 Rotary Club of Dr Phillips, had a District event at the Leesburg High School.
The Interact club was putting up a peace pole
and a celebration pole.
The celebration pole s for 250 years USA,
100 years for the school.
Their Governor is the main speaker.
And one of the peace poles had the Swedish
“Peace on Earth” statement.
In 2024, the title "Peaceful Universe" on this page was inspired by our involvement in the "Peace on Earth" project, led by Dr. Philip Rotary Club of Orlando.
The goal was to get photos from all the Rotary clubs around the world to accompany a lunar lander, with the message "Peace on Earth". Unfortunately, the launch has been postponed several times since 2024, but the project remains significant. It is planned once again to be launched in the late part of 2026.

David vad de Velde
Currently, our main focus is dedicated to supporting the children of Ukraine by actively participating in an organisation called Save Ukraine and their humanitarian efforts. We are committed to making a positive difference and providing assistance where it is needed most. Since the beginning of 2026, we have financed the purchase of backpacks containing school supplies for schoolchildren distributed by them.
For this reason, we would like to present the entire work of their organisation.
